To do this, we or our analytics partners may use a variety of technologies, including log files, cookies, pixel tags (or web beacons), scripts, or other tracking mechanisms that recognize your mobile device and gather information about its online activity. The app uses third party service providers, including but not limited to, Flurry, Crashlytics, Mixpaneland Localytics to provide important analytics information.
Cookies are small files that are stored on your mobile device. A cookie can allow an online service to recognize your mobile device and to obtain certain information about that device and how you use it. A pixel tag (or web beacon) is a small block of code that usually consists of a single-pixel image. It can be installed in, or called by, a webpage or app and be used to retrieve information about your mobile device and your use of an app. The BOSEbuild Sound app also uses tracking mechanisms embedded in software development kits, or SDKs.
We use the information that we collect through these tracking mechanisms to support our internal operations, including:
- To count unique app users and identify trends among users;
- To analyze how users use the app and various app features;
- To measure the popularity and effectiveness of different app content and features; and
- To improve the app and enhance users' experiences.

We may partner with certain third parties to collect and analyze the information discussed above. These third parties may use log files, cookies, pixel tags, or other tracking mechanisms. The app uses third party service providers, including but not limited to Flurry, Crashlytics, Mixpanel and Localytics for the purposes discussed above. We also use service providers such as Segment that enable us to better control data from the app and direct it to our third-party analytics service providers.
If you are concerned about having cookies on your mobile device, you can block them by changing your user settings. You can also opt out of most analytics tracking in the app by changing your user settings through your device's operating system. Go to Settings > Sound > Advanced > Analytics. After navigating through those steps in the settings menu, choose "Don't Send" to opt out of most analytics tracking. Although the app currently does not respond to other types of "do not track" requests, you can limit tracking by taking the steps above.
