Here at Bose, we value curiosity very highly. Because it’s by being curious about things that we discover new and better ways to do them. Recently, we assembled a small team of people to answer this question: What can we offer to kids that would inspire and reward that sense of curiosity?
For the traditional Bose customer, we strive to deliver solutions. We put a lot of technology into something that solves a problem, and we try to present that solution to our customers in the simplest, most elegant way possible. In a sense, we want to give them the answer, without making them think too hard about the question. But for kids, we wanted to do more than that. Rather than just give them an answer, we wanted to engage kids in figuring out how their world works. We wanted to give them the tools they need to discover problems, explore solutions, and even build their own products.
BOSEbuild was born from these ideas and we assembled a small passionate team to pursue turning them into a real product.
