How to make exploration engaging?

Posted by Joe Titlow on

As we started thinking about BOSEbuild and what we might offer, it was really important for the team to learn whether there was enough interest in our product ideas to really excite kids and keep them engaged and interested. So we developed a great partnership with i2 Camp, a Science and Technology focused summer camp.

During the Summers of 2014 and 2015 we put together 25 hours of experiments and hands-on activities that would make up a 5-day course to engage kids in the science of sound, music and motion. This summer STEM program involved a whole host of activities beyond sound and speakers, including building musical instruments, making an electric guitar pickup, experimenting with motors and strobe lights, and combining music and motion together to make a music video.
